A booklet of poetry and pen-and-ink illustrations originally presented and published in May of 2019 alongside an art exhibit in Harrisonburg, VA.
This collection of work is about accepting the therapy of the mountains and being calmed by the colors in the sky. It’s about listening to your own voice—past and present—and finding meaning there. For me, it’s about slowly and somewhat painfully taking one hundred steps back from a worldview that cradled my perception and disparaged my soul questions.
Is it important for us, as we coexist, to know and validate and ask each others’ questions? Here are some of mine in a book, just in case it is.
What are some of yours?
